  You must have completed an eligible course at a UK higher education institution with a track record of compliance. This can be an undergraduate degree, a master's degree, or a PhD.

• Visa Status

  You must be in the UK and hold a valid student visa at the time of your application.

• Confirmation of Study

  Your educational institution must inform the Home Office that you have successfully completed your course.

Path to Settlement

The Graduate Route does not directly lead to settlement in the UK. However, it allows you to gain work experience which may help you qualify for other visas that do lead to settlement, such as the Skilled Worker Visa.

  You must apply before your current Tier 4 (General) student visa expires.

  Applications are submitted online through the UK government's official visa application portal.

  There is an application fee of £715

  You will need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge, which is £624 per year.

• You can work at any skill level during your stay under the Graduate Route.
