VISA Process

  • Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Requirement

    You must provide a statement addressing your intention to stay in Australia temporarily for the purpose of study, demonstrating your genuine intention to return to your home country after completing your studies.

  • Financial Requirements
    • Proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees, living expenses, travel costs, and if applicable, expenses for any dependents. As of 2023, this is typically AUD 21,041 per year for living costs.
    • Alternative evidence of financial capacity can be provided through a scholarship, sponsorship, or a formal financial support arrangement.
  • English Proficiency

    Evidence of English language proficiency through standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic. The required score varies depending on the level of study and the institution.

  • Health Requirements
    • Undergo a medical examination and obtain a health certificate from an approved panel physician.
    • Purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of your stay, unless exempted.
  • Character Requirements
    • Provide a police clearance certificate or other evidence to demonstrate good character.
    • Complete a character statutory declaration if required.
  • Health Insurance

    Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) must be obtained for the entire duration of your stay in Australia.

  • Academic and Work Documents
